Troubleshoot: Cover Opens and/or Closes Crooked

ISSUE

My cover is crooked after I open or close it.

POSSIBLE CAUSES

Overstress. First, check the touchpad/keyswitch indicator. If it’s blinking red, the automatic pool cover is under stress, possibly from excess water on the cover. Be sure to use a cover pump whenever your pool cover is closed.

Debris. Debris could be clogging your tracks. Keep tracks clear of debris by rinsing them with a garden hose. Also, check that all toys and other objects have been remove from the pool and from the cover before opening/closing.

Misalignment. Your cover may need to be realigned.
